DEFINE ART GALLERY announces [LIMITLESS….] International Juried Art Competition Exhibition. All visual artists from around the world are invited to submit their best artworks on the theme [LIMITLESS….] for juried inclusion in the exhibition. Many types of art styles may be submitted, including both 2D and 3D works, painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, graphic, and mixed media.  (Sorry no video, AI or installation artwork)

 

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

​​The theme of this international juried art competition is LIMITLESS…. Artistic interpretation without end or boundary. All subjects that can be interpreted as [LIMITLESS….] are welcome under this category. Artists are free to apply their own interpretation. Natural and artificial subject matters, as well as representational and abstract concepts will be considered. Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any of our art competitions and exhibitions. See below for more details on submission guidelines.

 

DEADLINE

The deadline for submission is OCTOBER 05, 2023 @ 11:59PM (US EASTERN TIME ZONE)

 

AWARDS & PRIZES

(1) BEST OF SHOW Prize Award | $300 USD

(1) Runner-Up Prize Award | $200 USD

(2) Merit Prize Award | $100 USD

(2) Honorable Mention Award (certificate award)

Additionally, the BEST OF SHOW winner will be featured, and their artwork will be on the cover of the show. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist’s name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

 

FEES

The entry fee for artwork is $35USD and you may submit up to 3 works of art. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.​ Our form limit is three, if you'd like to enter more than 3 artworks for consideration, please go back to fill in your details and submit again for $35USD.

* All cash prizes are paid out via CHECK or Zelle. Winners are responsible for conversion currency fees and international service charges.

SALES

All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. DEFINE Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

Files should be titled in the following format: Artist's Name, Art Title, Price (USD). 
EXAMPLE: JohnBrown_Midnight_75.

- Image size should be up to 2.0 MB in JPG format

- Image should not contain any frame, mat, backgrounds, or watermark.

- Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work, and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of artistic ability, and usage of medium.

ELIGIBILITY

• Must be original work to the artist and created in the last 5 years. (NO AI ARTWORK)

• Art which has won in any previous Define Art Gallery competition may not be submitted for consideration again.

HOW TO APPLY

Complete the entry form including artist and artwork information, upload at least one image for each artwork and click the SUBMIT button. You will be directed to another page for payment. A fee of $35USD will be collected for up to three works of art. The entry fee must be paid in full for your submission of works to be entered. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

All boxes in the application form must be completed and the boxed checked, for accepting the Terms and Conditions at the end of the form, to proceed to payment.

USAGE RIGHTS

This Agreement represents terms and conditions between artist and Define Art Gallery. Before submitting their artwork, all artists who want to participate in any competition on our website (definegallery.com) must agree to the following:

-Define Art Gallery will use your images only for marketing, promotional, and display purposed for any competition on our website.

-You, the artist, agrees to allow Define Art Gallery to archive chosen artwork as part of the exhibition. This will be available for public viewing on our website (definegallery.com).

-Artist shall retain all copyrights of any image they submit to Define Art Gallery.

-Images will not be resold or exchanged from this site.
